Stefan & Olivia

Stefan and Olivia’s wedding was intimate and sentimental in many ways. The Spanish theme was central to the experience, as they are both passionate about Spanish culture. Guests were greeted with sangria and tapas and for dinner, paella was an element of the main course. The entertainment included the beautiful voice of Raquel Winchester doing mainly Latin hits, live flamenco guitar and Latin dancers who mingled with guests during the reception. Stefan – a professional guitarist, surprised his bride by his own performance of flamenco guitar, but she was not ready for what followed next. Her dad joined him on stage for a vocal duet of the Gipsy Kings hit, ‘Un Amor.’

The decor was reminiscent of a Mexican fiesta in a bustling plaza and even featured papel picado (paper decorations on the ceiling). The cake was done by Cakery Bakery and was topped with flamenco dancers. The priest who officiated over the ceremony is also the couple’s good friend and he sang a popular Italian song for the sticking of the cake. Stefan and Olivia are forever grateful to their wedding planner, Tricia Ng A Mann who held everything together and made for a perfect day.
