“We met the way many millennials meet these days: online! I caught his attention with my profile picture, and he captured my heart with his conversation skills.”
Our dating was always very intentional, and after three years on the dot, he proposed. October 20th has always been significant in our journey, so it was only fitting for us to tie the knot on that date. At this stage of our lives, the wedding was intended to be an intimate and meaningful affair, featuring a mix of tradition and modern touches, with an overall sense of effortlessness. Bottom line: we wanted no “frou-frou” or fuss!
So, we opted out of the customary separate venues for the ceremony, pictures, and reception; bridesmaids and groomsmen and staged getting-ready photos. Instead, the invitations were digital, the wedding was on a Friday, both parents walked the bride into the ceremony space, the single location was perfect for capturing all elements of the special day; and both the groom and bride gave speeches. The aesthetic conveyed “easy magic,” and we couldn’t have been more pleased to share this occasion with friends and family who traveled from the Caribbean, United States and the United Kingdom to celebrate.” – Danielle
